So expressive...

Every week, I download about 150 pics off my phone because I'm just obsessed with him. I don't know if it's because I know that this is my ONLY chance at parenting so I tend to want to memorialize every moment but I love snapping pics of him.  My memory is also shotty these days due to being a mommy to a child with special needs that doesn't always sleep through the night anymore.  Anyways, whatever the reasons, I capture a wide array of emotions...

This one screams "you're boring me" and get that camera out of my face...

So much energy that he can't/won't sit down to play with chalk in the driveway...

Help me find the carrot for the millionth time...and, as you can see, I multitask the hidden picture puzzle while watching Judge Judy, lol

Bubble boy...

Perfect angel...

"Who's radder than me?" in these glasses, yo...

Enjoying the birds chirping on our morning walk to school..

I simply can't say enough how much I love being this kid's mommy...every moment of the day!

It's the little things...

It's the little things that bring the most joy.  He loves, loves, loves to play in the water.  This was a day that I filled the water table up to the brim and just let him drench himself...the smiles and laughs tell what he thought of the activity :)

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

We don't do that much around here to commemorate St. Patrick's Day but we do have fun!

Yeah, I selfishly use any occasion to put a shirt on him that says something about mom.  I wonder at what age that this will have to stop?

Super Cooper in a kilt?  His cool factor is off the charts!

Some St. Paddy crafts !
A little St. Paddy's party that we attended...

I wonder if...

I wonder if he wanted to ride the train?  I mean, he only stopped at every train symbol to make sure that I knew that he wanted to ride the train...

Happy little man!

I am Batman...

There are princesses for girls and superheroes for boys (not that I endorse such obvious gender biases) and we have a bunch of superhero stuff.   Coop hasn't reached the age where HE has a superhero preference really so you'll find a little bit of every one of them around the house...but, I have a preference and sometimes my preference is obvious, lol

This cute Batman jacket's hood has a little mask that pulls down. Tell me that's not awesome and I'll call you a liar ;)

These Batman pjs have a cape. Yep, a cape...

Impossible...

Cooper was a huge factor in my decision to get my act together and finally get healthy (I've lost 53 pounds since last July for those of you that read my blog and I'm not facebook friends with).  I've thought of him the many times that I wanted to binge on McDonalds but chose to go home and eat a salad instead.  He still fits in his jogging strollers so he's been my companion on many of my runs.  He's a great source of motivation for me as I watch him work so hard to do all the things that I USED to take for granted.  But, there are some times that working out with him isn't possible and ab work is normally where he starts getting all restless and crazy on me...

He looks like he's doing reverse crunches in this one...

He's just making things harder on me here...

I think my expression tells you that I have no idea what's he's doing, lol

Sprinkler time...in March?

Cooper was begging to play with the sprinkler on Saturday and since it was sunny and nearly 70* degrees, I said yes (like any cool mom would, yo).  He was soaked.  I literally had to peel the clothes off of him but he was ecstatic and joyful which is where I like him to be...

I'm sure the neighbors loved this view, lol
