Allow me to introduce you to my son, Cooper...

This will be a brief post because there is so much going on but I wanted to post some pics of our little man. My hubby knew how important getting the word out to all of you would be to me and I'm grateful for his eloquent birth announcement!

Yesterday was a whirlwind day and I'll find the time to do the birthstory later...

Cooper is on a c-pap machine and there are so many wires that it makes it hard to change his diaper but I did change his first poopie diaper today :)

He likes to sleep on his tummy and likes to be bundled up, too!

Cooper holding Mommy's fingers!

I know that I'm biased but isn't he just gorgeous!

  9. This is wonderful news. Congratulations! We went through a second round of NICU 4 months ago when my son was born just shy of 8 weeks early. My wife had a placental abruption so there was no time for the steroid shots. He had a rough go of it for the first few days; had a ventilator for the first 5 days. He was a strand of hair over 4 pounds. He was 4 months yesterday and weighs over 13 pounds now. I hope that gives you something to look forward to; I'm sure everything will work out just fine. Congrats again, to you and your husband.
